Dr. Abdourahmane Diouf, appearing on a popular RS1 program hosted by Migui Marième Ndiaye, recently addressed the issue of political funds. He disclosed that Ousmane Sonko controlled a staggering 1.77 billion CFA francs in secret funds during his tenure as Prime Minister. But the minister didn’t stop there.

According to Diouf, Sonko allegedly requested an additional allocation after exhausting his initial political funds. A critical question lingers: was this request granted? More importantly, the origin of such sensitive information remains shrouded in mystery. Only two individuals—the President of the Republic and the Minister of Budget—should have had access to such data, raising serious doubts about its authenticity.
