Yaoundé special promotional sale for consumer goods begins june 22

Minister of Commerce Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana announces a major promotional sales operation in Yaoundé.

The promotional sales initiative led by the Minister of Commerce will span several weeks at the Boulevard du 20 mai. It runs from June 22 to September 30, 2026.

“This event, conducted in partnership with socially responsible companies, aligns with the government’s policy to combat the high cost of living. Its goal is twofold: to support household purchasing power during the summer break, and to help parents prepare for the 2026–2027 school year by making school supplies available at affordable prices,” the Ministry of Commerce stated.

Luc Magloire Mbarga Atanga added: “Beyond Yaoundé and its surroundings, as well as the major cities, this operation is intended to spread across the entire country, notably through traveling promotional caravans.”
