N’Djamena — World Vision Tchad has officially rolled out its groundbreaking National Strategy 2026-2030, marking a pivotal moment in the organization’s mission to uplift the lives of children across the nation. The launch event, held in N’Djamena, brought together media representatives, technical and financial partners, and national authorities to discuss the transformative roadmap.
The strategy targets an ambitious milestone: reaching 3.29 million children by 2030, including 3.09 million from the most vulnerable communities. This initiative integrates humanitarian aid, sustainable development, and peacebuilding to create lasting change. The approach is designed to address the root causes of poverty, malnutrition, and social instability while fostering resilience in local communities.

Speaking at the event, the Regional Director of World Vision for West Africa, based in Dakar, emphasized the strategy’s innovative and bold vision. World Vision Tchad’s National Director underscored the urgency of the strategy, noting that nearly 42% of the population lives below the poverty line, with children bearing the brunt of these hardships. The 2026-2030 strategy outlines five key priorities:
