The Chairman of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chad chapter, Emmanuel Nadingar, held a press briefing today at the Sabangali headquarters in N’Djaména’s third arrondissement. The event centered on fostering peace amid global conflicts and Chad’s socio-political landscape.
Challenges of a Divided Nation
Nadingar highlighted how global resource-driven conflicts push communities to close ranks, often intensifying divisions. Within Chad, he noted that “significant developments have unfolded”, though he refrained from elaborating further. These shifting dynamics, he warned, demand urgent attention to prevent further fragmentation.
A Call for Unity Over Division
To counter rising tensions, Nadingar issued a stern appeal to all Chadians: reject communalism, isolation, and violence. His message was clear—national progress hinges on collective solidarity. “Only through unity will we find the strength to overcome our challenges,” he emphasized. His solution? A genuine and heartfelt dialogue where every voice is heard and respected.
Peace as a Global Mission
Beyond Chad’s borders, Nadingar underscored the Universal Peace Federation’s role—a global NGO active in over 190 countries since its 2005 founding. Its Chad chapter, he noted, mirrors this commitment to conflict resolution and social harmony on a local scale.
