Dakar — National Assembly President Ousmane Sonko conveyed his heartfelt condolences following the passing of Serigne Abdou Bakhi Mbacké, the esteemed Khalife of the Khassim Mbacké family in Guinguinéo, who died on July 9, 2026.

In a Facebook post, Sonko expressed profound sorrow, recalling the deep spiritual guidance and legacy left by the late religious leader. He extended his sympathies to the deceased’s family, the Mouride community’s general Khalife, and the people of Sénégal.
