In a deeply symbolic gesture, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Niger, joined by the Nigerien Minister of Foreign Affairs, officially inaugurated the ceremony commemorating the 27th anniversary of the Throne Day. This solemn occasion served as an opportunity to review the key accomplishments achieved by the Kingdom under the reign of King Mohammed VI.

A period of profound transformation

“Morocco has undergone a profound transformation across its infrastructure, industrial landscape, geopolitical standing, and social protection frameworks. Sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energies have significantly reshaped the nation’s productive structure,” affirmed Mohammed Iboumraten, Morocco’s Ambassador in Niamey.

This celebration also provided a platform to underscore the exceptional friendship and cooperative spirit flourishing between Morocco and Niger. These historical bonds continue to strengthen year after year, fostered by strategic partnerships spanning numerous areas of mutual interest.

Reinforcing bilateral cooperation

“The cooperation between Morocco and Niger is built upon deep historical roots, shared solidarity, and a collective commitment to enhancing bilateral relations across political, economic, security, cultural, and spiritual domains. The King’s consistent dedication to Niger has been notably demonstrated through two royal visits and an unwavering commitment to a balanced and mutually beneficial partnership,” the Ambassador further elaborated.
