In a groundbreaking move to strengthen academic ties, two prominent associations from Morocco and Spain have finalized a historic partnership in the field of management sciences.

On Saturday, the Moroccan Association of Management (AMG), headquartered in Rabat, and the Spanish Scientific Association for Economics and Business Management (ACEDE) inked a landmark cooperation agreement in Santander, Spain.

The memorandum of understanding outlines a comprehensive framework aimed at fostering scientific exchanges, collaborative research projects, joint participation in academic events, and closer ties between researchers, faculty members, and doctoral candidates from both nations, as outlined in a statement by AMG, an entity closely affiliated with Mohammed V University in Rabat.

Both associations, which are members of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM), seek to deepen academic and scientific collaboration between Moroccan and Spanish research communities within the realm of management sciences.

Empowering the next generation of scholars

The partnership also aims to bolster the skills of doctoral students and early-career researchers while facilitating their integration into global scientific networks.

The ACEDE, recognized as Spain’s leading academy in management and business administration, was established in 1990 and boasts a membership of over 700 university professors and researchers. Its core mission revolves around advancing rigorous research and enhancing the quality of business administration education.

Through this collaboration, the AMG and ACEDE aspire to inject fresh momentum into scientific exchanges between Morocco and Spain while providing young researchers from both countries with greater access to international academic networks.
