Chad President returns from United Arab Emirates after high-level talks
President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno has returned to N’Djamena following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he engaged in critical diplomatic discussions with the country’s leadership.
During his stay, the Chadian head of state held two separate meetings with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second meeting occurred at the residence of President Déby Itno.
Warm welcome upon arrival in Chad
Upon landing in N’Djamena, President Déby Itno was greeted by a high-profile delegation, including the Prime Minister, Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the State Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of the Presidential Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Advisor, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
