Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno landed in N’Djamena late this evening, concluding a significant diplomatic mission to the United Arab Emirates. The visit underscored strengthening ties between Chad and the Gulf nation.

During his stay, the Chadian leader engaged in two key meetings with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second was hosted at the Marshal’s official residence.

Upon touchdown in N’Djamena, President Déby was greeted by a high-powered delegation including Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the State Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency, the personal Chief of Staff, Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, Deputy Private Secretary, and the mayor of N’Djamena.
