AI-Cameroon Graduate Honored with Prestigious Paris Academic Excellence Award
Brayan Yebga Miyogog, a distinguished alumnus of the African Institute of Computer Science (AI-Cameroon) / Paul Biya Center of Technological Excellence, was honored with the African Student Excellence Award (PEEA) on June 27, 2026, in Paris. The prestigious recognition, presented by the PEEA association, celebrates his academic brilliance, unwavering resilience, and commitment to ethical leadership with a tangible impact on Africa’s global standing.
The award ceremony, attended by leading figures in science, culture, and diplomacy, highlighted the exceptional quality of education provided by AI-Cameroon under the leadership of its Resident Representative, Armand Claude Abanda, who also holds the UNESCO Chair for Central Africa in ICT Access. Miyogog’s achievement underscores the institute’s dedication to nurturing top-tier talent in software engineering and digital innovation.
Receiving the Silver Prize—which honors outstanding academic performance, perseverance, and leadership among African students—Miyogog emphasized the pivotal role of his training at the Paul Biya Center of Technological Excellence. “On that day, I will proudly represent AI-Cameroon,” he stated. “My speech will reflect the values instilled in me here—the rigor, discipline, and relentless pursuit of excellence that define my journey.”
This accolade follows Miyogog’s earlier triumph as co-founder of the AgriGuardian platform, which secured the TechforTech Public Prize at the 2026 Petit Poucet competition. Currently based in Montpellier, France, Miyogog serves as a junior systems architect and cybersecurity specialist, combining advanced expertise in digital technologies, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
