Senegal’s president Diomaye Faye unveils new political party amid power struggle

The political landscape in Senegal has been reshaped with President Bassirou Diomaye Faye’s official launch of a new political party on Saturday, marking a definitive split from his former ally and Pastef party leader Ousmane Sonko.
