Ryanair expands winter routes with 17 new flights to Morocco
Ryanair is set to launch its most ambitious winter program yet in Morocco, adding 17 new routes—seven of which will originate from Rabat—totaling 5.3 million available seats.
This winter, Ryanair will operate 156 routes connecting the Kingdom to 14 European destinations. Rabat stands to gain the most from these expansions, followed by Marrakech and Agadir, each securing five additional connections.
The specific European cities and flight frequencies remain undisclosed, though the announcement underscores the airline’s intensified focus on Morocco’s top three tourist hubs.
The Moroccan National Tourism Office highlights this initiative as Ryanair’s largest winter program in the country, aligning with efforts to boost Morocco’s air connectivity.
Thirteen Moroccan airports to benefit
Ryanair’s expansion will touch 13 Moroccan airports, including Fès, Tétouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla, and Nador. These additions complement the new routes announced for Rabat, Marrakech, and Agadir, aiming to distribute tourist traffic more evenly across regions.
The initiative also seeks to highlight lesser-known Moroccan destinations on key European travel markets.
