However, a spokesperson for Ousmane Sonko’s party has categorically denied the claims. In a direct response to the circulating information, a close associate of the leader emphasized that no official invitation or meeting was ever organized—neither at Sonko’s home nor at any other location. The denial underscores the spread of misinformation across social platforms, which has fueled unnecessary conjecture.
