With the 2026 World Cup in full swing, Paris Saint-Germain is ramping up its summer transfer preparations. The capital club is accelerating efforts, especially regarding the potential signing of Maghnes Akliouche. The French international has reportedly clarified his future plans should he leave AS Monaco at the end of the season.

Maghnes Akliouche chooses his next destination

Maghnes Akliouche has made his intentions clear. If he departs Monaco, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder wants only PSG. Despite interest from Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United, the Frenchman’s preference is strongly for the Parisian side. Currently representing France at the 2026 World Cup, he has already given a first indication of his decision.

PSG accelerates for summer market

Now, PSG must find an agreement with Monaco to secure Akliouche’s signature. The reigning back-to-back Champions League winners are expected to fund the transfer through the sales of Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan and Kang-In Lee to Atlético Madrid. The French international is not the only target; PSG is also advancing on moves for Yan Diomandé and Alessandro Longoni. Stay tuned.
