Delegates gathered for a landmark general assembly where Tarik Hamane was elected President of the Moroccan Water and Sanitation Association (AMEPA) for a four-year term. The gathering also marked the installation of a new 27-member Board of Directors and a 12-member Executive Committee, drawn from both public and private sectors across the water industry.
The extraordinary session included the review and approval of the Association’s annual moral and financial reports, alongside the adoption of constitutional amendments. These changes are designed to modernize AMEPA’s governance and enhance its operational efficiency, with a particular focus on strengthening industrial sovereignty within the water sector.
