Ligue 1 free match every week? A proposed law could change everything

Could football fans soon watch a Ligue 1 match for free every week? That is exactly what an amendment to a bill reforming professional sports aims to achieve. The proposal is being examined today at the National Assembly. Currently, watching Ligue 1 requires a subscription to Ligue1+, costing at least €15 per month, with around one million subscribers. Unsurprisingly, this idea has thrilled supporters of the beautiful game, according to Grégoire Morelli.
