On the afternoon of Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Baga-Sola, young people from the Lac region, acting through the Coordination of Youth Associations of Lac (CADELAC), extended their solidarity to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) actively engaged in the ongoing struggle against Boko Haram.
Addressing local dignitaries, Coordinator Mahamat Adam Moustapha began by offering heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the recent tragic incidents in Barka Tollorom. He then lauded “the profound sacrifices made by the FDS to safeguard peace” and reiterated the unwavering commitment of the youth to fostering citizen vigilance and robust community mobilization.
In a humble yet deeply meaningful gesture, CADELAC presented five 50kg sacks of rice and ten cartons of pasta. This initiative, as articulated by the coordinator, stands as a clear testament to the resolve of a resilient youth determined to bolster the security forces operating within the Lac province.
