Laborex Tchad, a subsidiary of CFAO Healthcare, commemorated three decades of unwavering commitment to Chad’s healthcare sector on May 28. The milestone event highlighted the company’s evolution into a cornerstone of the nation’s pharmaceutical supply chain, ensuring reliable access to essential medicines and medical devices.

Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has played a pivotal role in supporting Chad’s healthcare system by distributing high-quality pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers nationwide. Its reach extends from N’Djamena and Moundou to Sarh, Abéché, Bongor, and beyond, reinforcing its presence in both urban and rural communities.

The celebration featured speeches from the company’s chairperson, Ms. Ngarmbatina Sou IV, and Mr. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Regional Director of CFAO Healthcare. In her address, Ms. Sou IV expressed deep gratitude to Chadian authorities for their steadfast support since the company’s inception. She also acknowledged the trust placed in Laborex Tchad by financial partners, pharmacists, medical depots, hospitals, and customers alike.

« Choosing Laborex Tchad is a decision rooted in trust, not habit. Our mission is clear: deliver the right medication to the right place at the right time, ensuring every patient across Chad receives the care they need, » she emphasized.

With a reflective yet optimistic tone, she added, « Thirty years is just the beginning. We’re only halfway there—if not less. »

Mr. Roux reflected on his 24-year journey with CFAO Healthcare, praising Laborex Tchad’s enduring legacy. He honored former leaders, including Ms. Maria Mion Calvet, and commended the current leadership under General Manager, Ms. Tignocqua, for fostering a dynamic and youthful workforce.

« Laborex Tchad is a mature company with a youthful spirit, driven by its dedicated team, » he stated. He also extended appreciation to the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, laboratory partners, financial institutions, and staff for their relentless efforts.

« Together, we’ve built a robust pharmaceutical supply network that reaches every corner of the country, » he concluded.

The event concluded with a lively celebration, featuring traditional balafon music that resonated with attendees and left a lasting impression.
