The Chadian Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, concluded a two-day working visit to N’Djamena on Thursday with a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Chad, Mr. Allamaye Halina. During the audience, the Chadian Prime Minister extended high praise for the Algerian President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for his unwavering dedication to strengthening bilateral cooperation and his influential leadership role across Africa.

In a statement, Mr. Halina emphasized the “wisdom and vision” of President Tebboune, highlighting his “pivotal role in continental solidarity and his relentless efforts to deepen integration between the two brotherly nations.” He also underscored Chad’s deep appreciation for Algeria’s consistent support in fostering African development and solidarity.

Mr. Halina went further to convey the “fraternal greetings” of Chadian Head of State, President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to President Tebboune. This gesture underscored the “historical depth and unbreakable bonds” between the peoples and governments of both countries, rooted in shared values of solidarity and mutual respect.

The Chadian Prime Minister also extended warm greetings to Algeria’s Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation and deepening partnerships across multiple sectors.

The high-level meeting, which marked the conclusion of Mr. Djellaoui’s working visit, was attended by key Algerian figures, including the Director-General of Algeria’s Agency for International Cooperation and Development, Mr. Abed Hallouz, Algeria’s Ambassador to Chad, senior officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, as well as the CEOs of Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Company (Entp).
