Bénin: CENA officials undergo AI training in India for election oversight

A delegation from Bénin’s autonomous electoral commission, the CENA, is currently in New Delhi for a five-day intensive program focused on artificial intelligence applications in electoral processes, running from July 6 to 10, 2026.

The India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program, is hosting this specialized training. The goal is to equip election officials with cutting-edge skills in leveraging AI to enhance election administration, governance, and transparency in Bénin.
