The Paris Saint-Germain squad touched down in Budapest on Friday morning, ahead of Saturday’s high-stakes UEFA Champions League final against Arsenal. As sweltering heat grips much of France, the French capital’s representatives will find relief in the Hungarian capital’s milder conditions, ideal for top-level football.

Perfect pitch conditions await in Hungary

With kick-off set for 18:00 local time—earlier than usual—players from both sides will benefit from a comfortable playing environment. Forecasts predict a peak temperature of just 24°C, well below the scorching levels seen across France in recent days. The sky is expected to remain overcast, but crucially, no rainfall is anticipated, ensuring optimal conditions for a fast-paced and technical encounter.

A smooth arrival for Luis Enrique’s men

The PSG delegation was greeted upon arrival by clear skies and temperatures around 20°C. Training is scheduled to begin at 16:45, following a press conference led by Luis Enrique at the iconic Puskás Aréna. All first-team players, including Lucas Chevalier, Achraf Hakimi, and Ousmane Dembélé—who have faced recent fitness concerns—have been included in the matchday squad, with no absences reported.

With the club eyeing a historic back-to-back Champions League triumph, the stage is set for a showdown in a city offering the perfect backdrop for football at its finest.
