The High Authority for Party Regulation (HARP) of Pastef-Les Patriotes has released the provisional list of candidates for the upcoming party presidential election, in preparation for the 2026 congress. According to the decision issued by this internal electoral oversight body, only Ousmane Sonko‘s candidacy has been deemed valid at this time.

No other applications have been approved so far, as confirmed in the official document published by HARP. The upcoming Pastef-Les Patriotes congress, scheduled for the coming weeks, will notably determine the party’s next president.
