The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, met with Sering Modou Njie, Gambia’s Foreign Minister and Special Envoy of President Adama Barrow, in Rabat on Thursday.
During the meeting, Njie conveyed a written message from Barrow to King Mohammed VI, highlighting the strong foundations of Morocco-Gambia relations.
Following the discussions, Njie praised the exceptionally strong bond between the two nations, emphasizing the deep friendship, shared values, and robust cooperation that define Rabat-Banjul ties.
He underscored the high-quality partnership built on mutual benefits and a shared commitment to advancing bilateral relations further. Njie also reiterated Gambia’s eagerness to expand collaboration across key sectors of mutual interest.
