Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS, a prominent holding company, has officially confirmed its strategic takeover of SICTA (Société Ivoirienne de Contrôle Technique Automobile), the long-standing leader in Côte d’Ivoire’s automotive technical inspection sector.

Speaking to members of the press in Abidjan on April 29, David Fofana, CEO of Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS, elaborated on the SICTA acquisition and the significant progress achieved one year following its successful integration.

Through this pivotal acquisition, Mayelia not only inherits SICTA’s impressive five-decade legacy of expertise but also infuses it with a renewed spirit of innovation and forward-thinking dynamics.

A primary objective articulated by the leadership is to dramatically elevate the user experience. This ambition is well-supported by Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS’ proven track record; their prior launch of Mayelia Automotive successfully reduced waiting times to a mere 30 minutes, setting new service benchmarks within the industry.

The company is committed to aligning with the government’s “Zéro complaisance” policy, positioning itself as a crucial partner for the State in bolstering road safety initiatives and actively working to decrease road fatalities.

Beyond its core focus on automotive technical inspection, Mayelia PARTICIPATIONS is rapidly evolving into a dynamic multisectoral group. Driven by a pan-African vision, its strategy emphasizes synergy across its diverse operations. Currently active in two countries, the Group oversees six distinct subsidiaries spanning vital sectors such as mobility (Mayelia Mobilité), technology (CIEIRIA), professional training (Mayelia Academy), alongside its specialized technical inspection services (Mayelia Automotive Côte d’Ivoire, Mayelia Automotive Guinée, and SICTA).
