However, OM does not plan to sell Mason Greenwood cheaply, especially since Manchester United will receive 40% of the transfer fee.
Fenerbahçe to raise their bid
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Fenerbahçe offered €35 million to OM, which did not respond. This has not discouraged the Turkish club, which could make a new offer before the end of the month, as reported by the Corriere della Sera. OM is pushing in this direction and hopes to find a quick solution, as the DNCG has requested additional information from the club before making its decision. Meanwhile, AS Roma has not given up yet.

A few days ago, journalist Karim Bennati questioned the amounts mentioned so far. “Six months ago, when Greenwood was on fire, we talked about much higher figures. Now, with Marseille’s end of season and his less impressive finish… Are we looking at €50 million for OM? Honestly, looking at prices across Europe today, a player who can score around 20 goals each season in Ligue 1 is a bargain,” he said on L’Équipe channel. “If I were OM, they already had a clause to raise it to €60 million on July 1, I’d wait a bit longer to find a buyer.”
