The Malian government has unveiled a financial incentive ranging from 500 million to 2 billion FCFA for credible and actionable information leading to the arrest or neutralization of seven individuals suspected of terrorist activities. The announcement was made public through an official statement issued by the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, General Daoud Aly Mohammedine.

This initiative underscores Mali’s intensified efforts to combat terrorism and safeguard national security. Authorities emphasize that the targeted individuals are believed to have played key roles in planning, organizing, or executing attacks that have endangered both civilians and infrastructure across the country.

Who are the seven individuals sought by Malian authorities?

The list includes:

  • Iyad Ag Ghali (alias Abou Al-Fadel)
  • Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré (also known as Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô)
  • Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo (aliases Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi)
  • Alghabass Ag Intalla
  • Sedan Ag Hita (also referred to as Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, or Al Qayrawani)
  • Bilal Ag Acherif
  • Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi

The government has confirmed that these suspects are the subject of ongoing operations by security forces due to their alleged involvement in recent terrorist incidents.
