The Parti des 7 Merveilles du Peuple Gabonais (7MP) and the Mouvement Oligui Nguema 100% (MON 100%) recently held a press conference in Cité Damas, presenting a comprehensive review of their extensive national tour. This significant outreach initiative spanned from June 4 to June 25, 2026, encompassing all nine provinces of Gabon. Leaders from both organizations utilized this platform to share key insights gained during their mission and to outline their strategic directions moving forward.
The delegation, spearheaded by Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, who serves as both the founding president of the 7MP and the president of MON 100%, actively engaged with local populations, dedicated militants, and regional officials. The primary objective was to deeply understand the concerns of Gabonese citizens and to thoroughly assess the nation’s social and political landscape following the 2025 presidential election.
According to Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, this nationwide journey also played a crucial role in bolstering the internal structures of both movements. He affirmed, « Since June 4, 2026, the 7MP and the MON 100% Movement have synergized their efforts to sustain the momentum initiated on February 8, 2025. »
Throughout the various stages of the tour, discussions focused on a multitude of issues raised by the populace. These included critical concerns such as youth employment opportunities, reliable access to potable water, the condition of national roadways, healthcare services, educational provisions, and the escalating cost of living. Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma highlighted, « We journeyed to meet our fellow compatriots, to listen intently to them, and to gain a firsthand understanding of the realities on the ground. »

The leadership of both organizations also announced significant progress in their internal operations, including the reorganization of their provincial coordinations, the meticulous updating of their membership files, and the successful recruitment of new members. The movement’s president elaborated, « This mission enabled us to identify new local leaders, solidify MON 100%’s presence across all nine provinces, and secure 1,000 new membership registrations. »
The press conference drew the attendance of several prominent political figures, notably Angélique Ngoma, the Secretary-General of the Parti démocratique gabonais (PDG), and Gervais Oniane, the President of the Union pour la République (UPR).
Addressing the assembly, Gervais Oniane urged political parties to prioritize constructive dialogue and collaborative consultation. He emphasized, « It is imperative that political parties work in concert, fostering a spirit of unity and responsibility to effectively support the profound transformations unfolding within the nation. »
Concluding the gathering, the leaders of the 7MP and MON 100% put forth a proposal for the establishment of a dedicated consultation platform. This envisioned framework would bring together all political parties committed to supporting the initiatives of President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, aiming to streamline coordination among the diverse political formations in Gabon.
