The Gabonese government is tightening its grip on projects funded by the African Development Bank (BAD) to ensure swifter execution. This initiative comes as Vice-President of the government, Hermann Immongault, led a working session with a BAD delegation headed by Country Administrator Mamour Ousmane Ba on June 29, 2026. The meeting included the Minister of Planning, Louise Mvono, and the Minister of Agriculture, Pacôme Kossy. It follows recent high-level discussions in Brazzaville between the President of the Republic and the BAD President during the institution’s annual meetings, aimed at assessing project progress and addressing implementation bottlenecks.
