Formal resignation delivered to PCRN leadership

The abrupt departure of MP Nourane Foster from the PCRN has sent shockwaves through Cameroon’s opposition coalition. In a formal resignation letter addressed directly to party president Cabral Libii, Foster declared her immediate withdrawal from the party, citing irreconcilable ideological differences that have eroded trust between her and party leadership.

Key among her concerns is what she describes as “an erosion of party cohesion and personal attacks following her attendance at an official event hosted by First Lady Chantal Biya.”

“This is a matter of principle, dignity, and commitment to the vision of a unified Republic,” she stated, clarifying that her departure is motivated solely by ideological conviction rather than personal animosity or desire for retaliation.
