The newly appointed Emirati Ambassador, Hazza Mohamed Alqahtani, recently held a high-level meeting with Benin’s Minister Delegate to the President of the Republic in charge of National Defence, Gildas Agonkan. This inaugural encounter served to outline the diplomat’s mission and evaluate future avenues for bilateral cooperation.
During the discussions, Ambassador Alqahtani commended the robust nature of the existing military partnership. He also reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the United Arab Emirates to support Benin in safeguarding its territory and strengthening its security apparatus.
